WILLIAM CAMPBELL MACKEY

William Campbell Mackey, the oldest child of Ella (Campbell) and Clarence Mackey, was raised in the Ansley, Nebraska home of his father, which was still standing in 1974. He followed his father into the banking profession. During the First World War, William served his country in the United States Navy.
In May of 1927 William married Irvie Irene Van Ostrand, the daughter of _________________ (father) and __________________ (mother’s maiden name). The couple were married shortly after William has completed his education at the University of Nebraska and Wayne State Teachers’ College. Shortly after the birth of their daughter, 1) Lou Adelaide, the mother died.
