Michael Joseph Hayes and his wife Cynthia Ann Fetterhoff Hayes, are pictured here with their two children Riley David and Olivia Mae Hayes. Michael's birthday is the 1st of October. Riley's is the 2nd of September and Olivia's the 2nd of May.

The Hayes children are our relations through the lineage of:

Michael Hayes earned a bachelor’s degree in meteorology through the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1986. In 1989 Michael was awarded a master of science degree from the University of Missouri.
Michael received his doctorate in atmospheric science from the University of Missouri. He worked as a teacher assistant during his graduate years. After graduation he accepted a position as an assistant professor at the National Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

RILEY DAVID HAYES who will be 10 years old this year. Wouldn't his ancestor Elizabeth Ann Walsh Fecht have loved Riley's first name. Riley is the son of our kinswoman Cynthia Ann and her husband Michael Hayes. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska.

OLIVIA MAE HAYES is 5 years old in 2009. She is the daughter of our kinswoman Cynthia Ann and her husband Michael Hayes. Olivia was born in Lincoln, Nebraska where she lives with her parents.
