DEATH OF EARL WOJCIESZAK, HUSBAND OF SUSAN LYNN

Earl Wojcieszak of Lucerne, California passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 surrounded by the loving embrace of his family. He was born January 11, 1947 to Leo and Mildred Wojcieszak in San Jose, California.

Following high school in Upper Lake, California he enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country aboard the U.S.S. Arlington and Belatrix. He married the love of his life Susan Fecht on May 29, 1965.

Earl was a well known fixture in Lake County as being one of the best cooks in town. He spent over 40 years in Lake County and worked for several restaurants in the county. Earl truly loved his family and found great joy in raising his two children and seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchild grow up. In his spare time Earl loved to restore old cars, classic Packards being one of his favorites, and he created beautiful pieces of stained glass, gardened and loved to go fishing.

He is survived by his wife Susan Wojcieszak of Lucerne, son Darren Wojcieszak and wife Katie of Ukiah, daughter Deana Parlet and husband Kenny of Lakeport, grandsons Michael Wojcieszak and wife Samantha of Lucerne, and Araon Parlet of Chico, granddaughters Jaime Moreno of Lakeport and Arianna Parlet of Santa Rosa, great-grandson Shaun Wojcieszak of Lucerne, sister Maryann Hubble and husband Bill of Galt Missouri and brother Hank Wojcieszak of Redwood Valley.

A memorial service will be held at Upper Lake Cemetery on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of Jones Mortuary in Lakeport.
