James Algoe and daughter Genevieve Algoe

Julia Walsh was the half sister of Elizabeth Ann Walsh Fecht. She married James Algoe. Their daughter was Genevieve Algoe who became a Catholic nun. She took the name Sister Catherine Marie and remained a nun all her life.
Genevieve had family records but destroyed them, since her "real family" was her religious community.

Darren Earl Wojcieszak, son of Susan and Earl Woicieszak. Darren is the grandson of James L. Fecht and ggg gandson of Jacob and Margaret Bost Fecht.

ELIZABETH ANN WALSH FECHT

Elizabeth Ann Walsh was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She and her best friend Annie O'Callahan became cooks for railroad crews at Thompson, Missouri. She was briefly married to John Kelleher who was killed on the railroad. Elizabeth remarried to William Charles Fecht and lived out her life as a farmwife near Mexico, Missouri.

Julia Fecht Hogan on her farm in Villisca, Iowa. Julia was born in Mexico, Missouri. She married a successful farmer, Hugh Hogan. They had no children. She is buried in Villisca.

John David Fecht (United States Army Military Police) and his brother William Thomas Fecht (United States Army Air Corps) 1918.
Both young men were born on a farm just outside of Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri.

MILDRED FECHT

Mildred Fecht was 18 when this photograph was taken in 1920 in Minot, North Dakota. Here she stands on the tracks of the Great Northern Railroad. On the back on a duplicate of this picture are the words, "My Girl." Mildred was born in North Webster, Indiana.
